Counselling

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor which means I can work with various therapeutic approaches to support each of my individual clients’ preferences. Mainly working in a person-centred way puts you at the heart of the process.  I can offer aspects of Transactional Analysis(TA) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy(CBT) when appropriate.  Most importantly, I am here to listen to you, to understand and accept you, to empathise and support you through any issue or struggles you may be facing.

How I Work To Support You:
  • I provide a safe and confidential therapeutic space, which is client-led. I will work at your pace to support you in exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Your growth and well-being are at the forefront of our work together.
  • I am passionate about empowering each of my clients towards finding their true selves and living their ‘true’ authentic life. I may ask you questions to understand your situation better, however, I will not be offering advice, or telling you what to do as I believe the expert in our relationship is you.
  • I offer to accompany you on a very personal, and often difficult journey, with the knowledge and ability that I can hold a safe therapeutic space for you to explore safely without the fear of judgement or rejection.
  • As an integrative counsellor,  I can integrate insightful self-reflective tools and resources that help you to understand yourself and continue to work outside of sessions.
  • 50-minute weekly or bi-weekly sessions (in person or online) to create consistent support
  • Open-ended support: sessions are unlimited so clients are welcome to stay as long as it feels beneficial. We will periodically review and reflect on our work and our relationship, to make sure you are getting the best out of our time together.
  • Time Limited support: The number of sessions agreed with you to suit your needs
